For the Lok Sabha elections, the state BJP has announced the names of candidates for the remaining six Lok Sabha seats on Sunday this evening. BJP releases its list of 6 candidates from Chhattisgarh, – Shri Santosh Pandey to contest from Chhattisgarh’s Rajnandagaon, Shri Sunil Soni to contest from Raipur, Shri Vijay Baghel from Durg Shri Jyoti Nand Dubey from Korba, Shri Arun Saw from Bilaspur and Shri Chunni Lal Sahu from Mahasamund have been given the ticket. With this, there is speculation of Brijmohan Agrawal MLA and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh to fight the Lok Sabha elections.
On returning to the Raipur in the morning, former Chief Minister Raman Singh said that the names have been finalized in the Central Election Committee meeting. Raman Singh had already made it clear that no current MP is being given the ticket. Former CM Singh praised Raipur MP Ramesh Bais, saying that after being a seven-time MP, he was not even angry with the ticket cutting. He openly said that he is with the party’s decision. Likewise, Union Minister Vishnu Dev Sai did not show any displeasure from the ticket cutting. This is BJP where the leader is devoted to the party. The leaders live with discipline. With this, Raman Singh announced the names of six candidates for the Lok Sabha elections in the evening.
