MG Motor lifted curtains from its first and much anticipated SUV MG Hector in India. Hectare looks great in size. Its length is 4655mm, width is 1835mm and height is 1760mm. The front of the SUV has a large grille in black color with chrome finish, which makes its front look looking strong enough.

MG Motor has designed a new method for the SUV front. Hector’s headlamps are engaged in bumper and Dataim Running Lights (DRL) are given right above. Hector’s new design is being widely liked internationally. The SUV from the side looks quite heavy. From the rear side it looks quite curve and makes a great wind screen rear look perfect. Its rear and side look and glittering with the gloss-black plastic pillar beneath the spoiler. Hector’s beels are 17 inches.

Talking about the interior cabin, Hector’s dashboard is quite clean. It has a 10.4-inch touchscreen futuristic system. This touchscreen, named iSmart, has many connectivity features. Fox leather finishes on the seat, dashboard and door panel. There is enough room for front and rear passenger inside this 5-seater SUV. The big panoramic sunroof has been given in the SUV.

Power
MG Hector Petrol and Diesel will come in both the options. Its petrol engine is 1.5 liters, generating power of 143hp and 250Nm torque. The 2.0-liter diesel engine generates 170hp of power and 350Nm torque. Both engines are BS4 and are equipped with 6-speed manual gearbox. Petrol engine also has a 6-speed automatic transmission option.

Apart from this, 48V Mild hybrid variant of petrol engine will also be available, which will provide 12% more mileage than standard petrol engine. The company claims that the mileage of petrol-automatic variants is 13.96 km per liter, gasoline-manual variants mileage of 14.16 km per liter and diesel variants mileage of 17.41 kilometers per liter.

Safety
MG will come in Hector 4 Style (Style, Super, Smart and Sharp). Dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, rear parking sensors, disc brake features in all weighels will be available in all variants. There will be 4 airbags in Smart Variants and 6 airbags in Sharp.

Launching in
India, MG Hector will be launched in June. At present, the company has not disclosed its value, but it is believed that the SUV can be priced at Rs 15-20 lakh. In the market, this SUV will hit the SUV like Tata Harrier and Jeep Compass.
